Create your first Map
Creating a map is Simple. Tasmap's main concept is maps + notes. Here's a video demonstrating how to create a map in 3 minutes.
The result is here.
π Creating a New Map
Choose the map's region and level, then create a new map.
β Why select a range and level? This is one of Tasmap's core designs, helping a map focus on one area (e.g., Tokyo) or theme (e.g., Arctic expedition), avoiding an oversized but messy map. This also helps with future "offline use" functionality.

Themes
Tasmap offers many built-in map themes.
πͺ If you're not satisfied, you can design your own theme or let AI design one for you!
Elements
You can decide the colors of map elements and show/hide them.
π‘ Elements display depends on zoom level.
π‘ Currently, not all OSM data is available on Tasmap (mainly POI parts); we're adding more.
Markers and Lines
You can customize markers and lines on the map.
π‘ Lines can have multiple gradients.
π‘ When using, clicking on a line will open navigation between two points.
π Notes
Tasmap uses a minimalist editor design similar to Medium. You can connect selected text or blocks to selected map objects.
πͺ Tired of constantly looking up locations? AI can help!
π‘ Why not a full text editor? We want to keep the overall style simple and focused.
Tasmap has three different layouts, each suited for different purposes:
Story
Story is a single article + map combination, suitable for narrative content like guided tours or story maps. Best for beginners.
Cards
Cards is a combination of multiple articles + map, similar to layers concept. Each article can link to different markers. Suitable for diverse content categorization, such as coffee shops, afternoon tea, and dinner maps in the same area.
Album
Album combines multiple articles + images + content. Unlike Cards, each article can have a background image. Very suitable for album records or sharing photography locations.
βοΈ Settings
Notice the "My Tasmap" in the bottom left corner? Click it to access the settings page where you can change Map Information, App Icon, and Map Card.
