Hi everyone, I'm Eddie, an independent developer from Taiwan. I love coding and embarking on unique adventures - like visiting unmanned train stations, exploring anime pilgrimage sites, or discovering interesting vending machines (yes, it's a bit unusual). When documenting these journeys, I found that existing tools weren't quite right: Google My Maps isn't ideal for storytelling, and honestly, its interface could be more appealing; while Medium is clean and elegant, it wasn't designed for maps, making the scrolling experience rather cumbersome. I wanted a beautiful map that could perfectly capture my journeys, which is why I created Tasmap in early 2020.
Tasmap isn't just for documenting travels - it can create local guides, event maps, and even visualize data. We're planning to implement more exciting features, and if you have any ideas or feedback, feel free to reach out to me anytime.
Seeing more beautiful and engaging map stories come to life is why I created Tasmap. If you've created a map that exceeds your traffic limit, please contact me - we might be able to offer some additional benefits. For educational or charitable purposes, I'm also happy to provide special support, so don't hesitate to let me know what you need.
